We’re back!

So that’s it. The Lochbrow Landscape Project has begun once again, and we’ve had mixed fortunes for the first few days. The weather has been generally good, with some good stretches of sunshine and we’ve been working hard to continue our surveys. It’s certainly good to be back at Lochbrow! However, instrument problems mean that we’ve had to change plans a little and are now concentrating on resistivity survey in the north field. We hope to cover as much of the cursus as possible, complete coverage of the timber circle and fill in some gaps in the area surveyed already. We’ve welcomed a small number of volunteers and look forward to seeing some other old friends of the project over the next few days. Unfortunately the weather forecast doesn’t look too good for the rest of the week, but we remain hopeful that we won’t be washed away. Not yet anyway …
