Newsflash!

Today the Lochbrow Landscape Project reached a momentous milestone …. the last magnetometer grid in the north field was surveyed. ‘Partial grid queen’ Sophie, ably assisted by Liam and Kirsty, completed the very last magnetometry grid. A small celebration was deemed appropriate. This milestone is four years in the making and has been one of the key aims of the project since the very beginning. It means that we have now covered the full 13.1ha of the north field (the field within which the cursus and timber circles are located) with the magnetometer. Now that was a lot of walking (134km to be exact)!
